I have a question regarding the availability check in STO process. I have two plants 1000 with Sloc ABC and 1100 XYZ. I want to move the stock from 1000 ABC to 1100 XYZ. When i create the STO, system is going for availability check. (I'm not passing issuing storage location in item level ie., ABC). Also, the material being transferred doesnt have MRPArea ie., 1000ABC (Plant+Sloc combination) in MRP1 view.
will the system check at plant level ie., 1000 during availability check or it will consider at MRPArea if it exists?
Also, for extending a material to an MRPArea is it mandatory that the material needs to extended to that particular Sloc.
eg: MRPArea - 1000ABC
Plant - 1000
Sloc - ABC
Should the material be extended to sloc ABC before extending the MRPArea (1000ABC).
